7th August | Club Dive & Dine | Paterson Monument

When the Tamar tides align, we dive! 🌊🤿 Every now and then the Tamar tides line up perfectly for a Friday evening dive! To mark the occasion, we’re heading to the Tavern enjoy Friday night meals. The Tamar River has some spectacular diving, but please remember visibility is typically poor and you will require a torch as it is a Sunset Dive. A DSMB are also recommended. This dive site has a range of depths. Dive to your certification. When: Friday 7th August 2026 Dive Location: Paterson Monument, Macquarie Street, George Town. Time: 5:00pm for a 5:10pm briefing. The plan is to be in the water by 5:30pm followed by dinner at around 6:30pm Please remember that diving in the Tamar is tide-dependent and we will not be hanging around for latecomers. Any certified divers are welcome to join us. Scuba Gear: BYO or Equipment hire is available from Tas Divers during business hours.
