daydream is a work by Jewell Dalina created for ART SG and SEA Focus 2026. Rather than defining the emotion, Dalina leaves the figure’s gaze open, allowing viewers to project their own feelings and form their own interpretations that resonate within themselves. The deep and shifting blues were inspired by the changing tones of the sky and sea observed during brief breaks from the studio. Throughout the day, those gradual shifts in light and colour became a recurring visual reference. The original artwork is created using soft pastels on paper. @jewelldalina
