BEGINNER SOLDERING WORKSHOP CLASS DETAILS: Date: SUNDAY, DEC 13 Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Location: Studio Navarri, Knoxville, Tennessee Cost: $225, includes everything needed to create one sterling silver Infinity Gemstone Cuff, including your choice of gemstone. All tools and materials are provided during class. Create Your Own Infinity Gemstone Cuff Come spend a creative day at the bench learning the basics of silversmithing while creating a beautiful, handcrafted Infinity Gemstone Cuff in sterling silver. This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to make silversmithing approachable, fun, and achievable—even if you've never picked up a torch before! You’ll learn the language of the craft, become familiar with basic tools, and discover simple techniques you can continue using to create an entire armful of beautiful, stacked gemstone cuffs. ✨ PAYMENT PLANS are available with the SHOP app. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN You’ll work hands-on through the process of creating your cuff while learning: Simple, basic soldering with a small torch Gemstone setting Wire-wrapping accents Filing and shaping Oxidizing Polishing and finishing The proper use of basic silversmithing tools Tips and techniques you can continue using at home We keep things simple and approachable, using basic tools and techniques that can be recreated with affordable tools—even many items available at your local hardware store. 🌿 SKILL LEVEL Beginner-friendly! No previous jewelry-making or soldering experience is required. 🔥 DRESS FOR A MESS! Silversmithing is hands-on work, so please wear old clothing or bring an old shirt to wear over your work clothes. If you have long hair, please wear it pulled back or up. Come ready to learn, get your hands dirty, and discover the joy of making jewelry with your own two hands. By the end of class, you'll leave with a beautiful gemstone cuff you've created yourself—and the foundational skills to begin creating more. NO PREVIOUS SKILLS ARE NEEDED and BEGINNERS ARE ENCOURAGED TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED DURING CLASS TO REGISTER, MAKE YOUR CHOICE BELOW, AND BE SURE TO PROVIDE YOUR NAME, EMAIL, AND PHONE in case we need to contact you for schedule changes, inclement weather decisions, etc. We'll email you a confirmation, along with the street address. PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION IS FOR ONE STUDENT: each student must be registered, paid in their name, and provide contact info. You can leave any other important info in the message box during checkout. WHAT TO BRING: Just you and your creativity! We’ll supply everything! {If you have jewelry tools, you’re welcome to bring them. Please make sure they are labeled somehow with your name; in case they accidentally get mixed up.} After the class, you’ll receive an email with a written tutorial. CANCELLATION POLICY STUDIO NAVARRI allows cancellations to class reservations up to 24 hours before the scheduled class time. Reservations canceled more than 24 hours in advance will be issued a refund minus $5 for the credit card processing fee {if applicable}, or you may receive full credit toward rescheduling a future class.
