Psychic Realms

These recordings were composed during a series of sessions utilizing field recordings, guitars, Rhodes keyboards, pianos, percussion, and modular synthesizers. The lodestar for these musical works was modernity and communication technology. In many instances, we were trying to discover what something we imagined might sound like, similar to wandering YouTube for something specific yet completely new. The images for each EP are stills from television programming, isolated and drawn as an adaptation of their source pixels. All four EPs were produced around the same underlying theme and visually connected to a chosen style. Musically, each EP inhabits a consistent but unique style that we hope listeners find meditative, soothing, and blissful.
