A New Beginning and a Second Chance Kratos once again faces the role of a father. As a mentor and protector of Atreus—a son eager to earn his respect—he embarks on an intensely personal journey. To prevent the boy from repeating the mistakes of the past and teach him the art of survival in a cruel world, the former Spartan warrior will have to tame the dark rage that has ruled his life until now. Enter the Realm of Norse Myths Trade the richly decorated columns of Olympus for the harsh forests, mountains, and caves of Norse mythology from before the Viking Age. Discover a dark land of untamed elements, where you will encounter terrifying creatures, monsters, dragons, and a merciless pantheon of new gods. Brutal and Tactical Combat Thanks to a new camera perspective placed just behind the hero’s shoulder, you will find yourself at the heart of the action. Defeat enemies in spectacular close-quarters encounters where tactics, precision, and the use of new weapons and unique abilities are what matter most.
