Thunder Focus Block – For Thunder Nova Plus & Titan Get more clearance, reduce nozzle buildup, and make engraving uneven surfaces easier with the Wylde Willow Thunder Focus Block. The Thunder Focus Block is designed for Thunder Nova Plus and Thunder Titan lasers and allows you to properly focus your laser with the nozzle extension adapter removed. Removing the nozzle extension gives you significantly more clearance between the laser head and your material — making it perfect for engraving items with uneven surfaces, raised areas, or obstacles such as tumbler tabs. Less Nozzle Buildup. More Reliable Engraving. When engraving full sheets of leatherette or acrylic patches, residue can quickly build up on the tip of the nozzle. That buildup can interfere with the laser path or eventually fall onto your material, potentially blocking the beam and leaving areas that don't engrave properly. By removing the nozzle extension and increasing the distance between the nozzle and your material, the Thunder Focus Block helps keep the nozzle farther away from smoke, debris, and residue generated during engraving. Making the need to clean your nozzle a thing of the past. One Block for Both Lens Sizes The Thunder Focus Block is double-sided, allowing one tool to work with both: 2.5" lens 4" lens Simply use the appropriate side for the lens installed in your machine. Magnetic Storage Embedded magnets make it easy to keep your Thunder Focus Block right where you need it. Stick it directly to a magnetic surface on your laser so it's always within reach and less likely to get misplaced. When We Use It At Wylde Willow, we keep the nozzle extension removed when cutting and engraving acrylic and leatherette patches. This gives us additional clearance and helps reduce buildup around the nozzle tip. For applications such as deep cutting on thick material, simply reinstall the factory nozzle extension and refocus your laser onto your material as usual.
