Super soft and lustrous, this single ply yarn is best reserved for low-abrasion, indulgent projects such as shawls, scarves and cowls. Black Cold Ash is a small village in Berkshire, not far from SQHQ. It dates back to the 16th century and during the English civil war troops camped here before travelling on to Newbury. One skein available. 70% superwash merino 30% silk. Fingering - 4 ply weight. 100g. 400m. Hand wash in lukewarm water.
