Grödo/Grözinger of Germany These Organic Merino Wool Leg-Warmers are made from GOTS-certified organic merino wool. Made from 100% GOTS-certified organic merino wool. Can be worn covering knee, or scrunched up to cover only calf. Thin elastic thread runs parallel through cuffs to keep legwarmer in place. One size - This size most appropriately fits smaller women or teens. Please take note of measurements - it might be best used directly against skin underneath clothing. Length - 50 cm (approximately 20 inches) More about Grödo ... To maintain the health and longevity of your garments, organic wool is best washed by hand. Many modern woolen items are treated with chemicals to allow them to tolerate machine-washing. Certified organic wool does not contain such chemicals. Some washing machines have a special wool-cycle, which maintains a lukewarm water temperature throughout the wash and rinse cycle, as well as minimizing agitation of the garment, which can lead to felting / shrinking. However, wool does not need to be washed each time it is worn - simply air out overnight and they are fresh in the morning. Can be worn for extended periods without need for washing. The higher lanolin content is recommended for nursing pads & diaper covers, or to add even more softness to your woolens and to prolong the self-cleansing properties of the wool.
