Ornabrak Irish Single Malt Gin

Ornabrak is made by Origin Spirits in West Cork, using a farm-to-bottle approach centred on Ireland’s malted barley and Munster terroir. The barley is non-GMO and sourced from contracted growers, principally in south-east Ireland, before being malted in Cork. The base spirit is distilled in West Cork, where the mild oceanic climate and fertile soils provide favourable conditions for barley cultivation. A Douglas fir botanical is sourced locally from West Cork. This Irish Single Malt Gin is made from 100% Irish malted barley, distilled four times in copper pot stills before a fifth distillation with five botanicals: juniper, Douglas fir, angelica, lemon verbena and lemon peel. Rich and creamy on the nose, it combines juniper, malt, pine, citrus and subtle spice, with a smooth palate of vanilla, pink peppercorn and earthy citrus. The finish is long and persistent. Serve with premium low-sugar tonic and a thin slice of Granny Smith apple, or enjoy neat.
