Vintage German Shepard Charm Necklace

This vintage sterling silver german shepard charm is from Beaucraft, a mid century manufacturer based in Providence, Rhode Island. This charm is likely from the 1950's-60's, designed with the kind of sculptural detail and solid weight you just don't find in mass production today. The relief work on this little dog is remarkable: feathered coat, expressive posture, and all the personality of the breed captured in miniature. As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I gave this dog a one of a kind look by adding a movable 14k yellow gold collar, and applying a patina to show off thew incredible facial and fur details!
