Waterhouseite, Rhodochrosite

The specimen is not something one would easily come across intact. The piece is a thin cast like or crust in small rhodochrosite crystals deposited of matrix. The growth habit has small prismatic crystals in a pink colour with a concentration of amber colour towards the termination zone. There is waterhouseite present too which is visible under magnification.
