This 26 year old Gibson ES-335, in translucent cherry red over tastefully figured maple is an exceptional example of a high quality “good wood” era Gibson. The condition of this guitar is so clean it looks almost brand new. This example has all the trappings that made the ES-335 an enduring classic. Warm, woody and articulate tone, comfortable neck profile with 24 3/4” scale length, comfortable weight and timeless looks. There is minimal almost no fret wear on this instrument, the neck is straight and true with a low 1.8mm action at the 12th fret. Grover tuners provide excellent tuning stability, all delivered with a warm, low wind set of Gibson PAF style humbuckers. At 4kg, this instrument has a relatively robust construction. It is very solid with no signs of structural issues. You can play this loud with minimal feedback. From jazz, blues, country to hard rock, the ES-335 is an exceptionally versatile instrument.
