Rani Silk Shirt | Silver Bandhani
The Rani Shirt in silver Bandhani is named after “queen" or "female ruler" in Sanskrit. It is crafted from luxurious silk and is dyed by skilled artisans in Gujarat using an ancient tie-dye technique called Bandhani, a tie-dye textile art originating in India dating back over 5000 years. The dying is done by pinching small portions of cloth and tying them by plucking the cloth into small bindings that form a figurative design to form an intricate pattern of dots. Due to its hand dyed nature, every piece is unique and no shirt is the same making it even more special. The shirt also features soft pleating at the back and is finished with buttons cut from real shell.
