Right as Rain - Original Painting *

Oil on canvas, 12 x 12 x 1.5 inches · 2026, Vertical Rhythms collection A small painting with a lot of weather in it. Pours of periwinkle, mint, tangerine, blush, and deep navy descend the canvas in tight parallel runs, splitting and rerouting wherever they meet the palette-knifed ridges built into the surface beneath. The sherbet palette keeps the whole thing buoyant while the darkest drips cut down through it like a passing storm. Built pour by pour over many weeks, the piece reads as a shimmering curtain of color from across the room and resolves into hundreds of individual rivulets up close. Compact enough for a shelf or a gallery wall, and impossible to walk past. Wired and ready to hang.
