Z Man / Mudstudz

Mud minnow, killifish, cocahoe, creek chub… no matter where you fish along the Southeast and Gulf coasts and what you call them, these hardy little baitfish are the core inshore forage of redfish, seatrout, flounder, and more. MudStudZ brings that universal profile to life in a first‑of‑its‑kind, pre‑rigged bottom‑contact saltwater swimbait built to be crawled, skated, and retrieved confidently across any bottom substrate. Its low‑center‑of‑gravity weighting keeps the bait upright and prevents rolling, allowing it to navigate oysters, shell, and rock where traditional jighead‑rigged plastics hang up. On sand and mud, it tracks across the bottom and kicks up a mud trail that draws the attention of nearby predators. The exclusive SWAG tail produces a wide, free‑moving wag at all retrieve speeds, while ultra‑realistic hand‑painted and photo‑printed finishes mimic regional forage like North Florida mud minnows, Carolina striped killies, Gulf cocahoes, and Louisiana storm minnows. A custom heavy‑duty sickle‑shaped hook ensures solid hooksets and keeps fish pinned securely. MudStudZ gives inshore anglers a rugged, realistic bottom‑contact tool that navigates productive strike zones other swimbaits cannot and triggers the aggressive bites that define inshore success.
