Fun Times

From the STAYCATION collection Some ideas are simply too much fun to leave behind. My STAYCATION collection began during a time when the world seemed to stand still, and home became the centre of everything. I found myself drawn to playful shapes, overlapping colours, and the simple pleasure of creating something cheerful. Fun Times is a continuation of that exploration. Layers of translucent colour overlap and interact, creating unexpected combinations and little moments of surprise. There’s a sense of movement and lightness, as though the shapes are having a conversation of their own. The world has opened up again, but I still find myself returning to this visual language. Perhaps because it reminds me that joy doesn’t have to be complicated, and that sometimes, having fun with colour is reason enough to paint.
