Seagulls

Seagulls is a collection of close-up seagull recordings captured by the sea with a Sony PCM-D100. For these recordings, we used some treats to bring the birds close to the recording setup, allowing us to capture their calls and interactions from just a few feet away. The collection includes both clearly isolated individual birds and the lively sound of the full flock, with plenty of natural variation in calls, movement, and activity. The recordings were made in a quiet coastal location, away from traffic and other unwanted noise. This means the material is clean, focused, and free from most of the background interference you’d normally expect when recording seabirds in the wild. A simple, useful collection of high-quality seagull sounds for sound design, film, games, or any project that needs convincing coastal or harbor ambience.
