The EVO S, taken to its logical conclusion. Where the EVO S bonds carbon spokes into an alloy hub, the Ultimate does away with the join entirely. Spokes and hub flange are moulded as one continuous piece of carbon — a single structure running from rim bed to axle. There is no interface to flex against, nothing to fatigue, and no spoke tension to lose over a season. The result is lateral and torsional stiffness you can feel the first time you put the power down out of a corner. The flanges themselves are ultra-thin and aero-profiled, so the air moving through the wheel meets far less of an obstruction at the hub than on a conventional build. Twenty VONOA bladed carbon spokes front and rear, laced 1:1, with internal nipples for a clean surface. The 50mm rim shape was developed using CFD simulation on university supercomputers, then validated in the wind tunnel — not a claim many direct-to-consumer brands can make. At 30mm external and 24mm internal it is built for modern 28–30mm tyres, and the whole wheelset comes in at 1160g. This is the top of the Far Sports range. If the EVO S is what a world tour rider picks when they are free to choose, the Ultimate is what they pick when they want to make a point.
