Storybook Blocks - Christmas Elves: 30 Decoupage Wood Block Designs with Funny Sayings

Storybook Elves - 30 cheeky little Christmas elves in soft vintage storybook watercolor, made for decoupage blocks, plus sheets of funny typewriter saying strips to glue on top. Every elf has attitude: smug, side-eyeing, pouting, tangled in the lights, caught with the cookies, buried in gifts. Pair any elf with any saying - "I'm silently judging you. Lovingly." "Define 'nice.'" "Wrapping is my nemesis." - and you have a little block people stop and laugh at. MADE FOR A SQUARE CUT FROM A 2x4 The block sheets print six elves to a page at 3.375 inches - a hair under the 3.5 inch face of a 2x4 cut square, so the paper sits neatly inside the rounded edges. The cheapest wood there is, and the blocks sell at every craft fair. WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE 24 square elf designs (3600 x 3600 px, 300 DPI) 6 wide elf designs (3600 x 2400 px, 300 DPI) Block sheets PDF: all 24 squares, six to a page, sized for 2x4 blocks Wide block sheets PDF: the 6 wide designs, three to a page Saying strips PDFs: 24 Christmas sayings, 60 everyday sayings and 20 winter sayings in typewriter type, sized for the blocks, ready to cut out Every PNG separately too, so you can size them for any block, tin, tray or card The art itself has no words on it, so any saying goes on any elf, and the bottom of every design is kept simple so the strip has a place to sit. HOW TO MAKE A BLOCK Paint or sand your block. Print a sheet on regular or rice paper, cut out an elf and a saying strip or two, and glue them down with decoupage medium. Seal with a coat or two on top. Distress the edges with sandpaper if you like the worn look. PERFECT FOR Mantel blocks and tiered tray decor, craft fair and market makers, ornaments, gift tags, Christmas cards, tins and boxes, and junk journals.
