Beautifully restored 1930s silk slip in soft cream. Maxi length, with a deep V-back and ruffled cap sleeves - carefully rebuilt with an added layer of silk trim to restore fullness to the original single ruffle. Bodice has been embroidered in fine antique French lace, finished with hand-applied rosette details added during restoration, and a self-tie sash at the waist. Falls into a flowing bias-cut skirt with an asymmetric hem. Romantic, etheral, and versatile - can be styled as a summer bridal piece, or as a honeymoon and getting-ready moment. best on M/L (UK 12-14) but will also look lovely oversized on a smaller frame; model is size XS and 5ft3'' measurements in inches: chest 40'' / waist up to 34'' / hips 40'' / front length 52'' / back lengh 57'' silk chiffon and lace excl. trims great vintage condition; lovingly restored; please note some imprefections and small pin holes remain, most notably a few smaller holes to the right side of the waist but these are not noticeable when the slip is tied around at the waist with the silk sash
