Home Tile 2x2
Gorila Home rubber tiles are an easy way to floor a home or garage gym without hauling a 170 lb roll. Each 2' x 2' square tile weighs 7 lb, so one person can carry and place the whole floor. Same recycled rubber and 8 mm thickness as our Gorila Home roll, in a multicoloured confetti fleck. Made in Canada. Size: 24" x 24" (2' x 2'), 4 sq. ft. per tile. Thickness: 8 mm (5/16"). Weight: 7 lb per tile. Edges: square cut, tiles butt tight against each other. Finish: charcoal with multicoloured confetti fleck. Sold per tile, no minimum. How many tiles? Room area in sq. ft. / 4, plus 5% for cuts. A 10 x 10 ft room takes 27 tiles, a 12 x 20 ft single garage takes 63, a 20 x 20 ft double garage takes 105. Installation Small, low-traffic room: loose-lay, start along the longest straight wall and work out. Garage or busy room: double-sided flooring tape under the seams keeps the tiles from shifting. Permanent floor: glue down with rubber flooring glue. Let the tiles sit in the room 24 hours before installing. Cut with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Good to know 8 mm handles racks, benches, machines and dumbbells set down with control. For dropped barbells, add a lifting platform or 3/4" horse stall mats in the lifting zone. Colour: fleck mix varies slightly between batches. Order the whole room at once. Want tiles that lock together? See the interlocking rubber tile, in 6, 8 or 10 mm, black or grey fleck. Cleaning: vacuum, then damp mop with rubber floor cleaner. Shipping: palletized freight, curbside. Full pallet: 400 tiles.
