YSHIELD® A190 | Shielding Fleece | Width 90 cm | Length 1m

Shielding laminated, highly stable fleece for a wide range of applications. Highly permeable to water vapor. 112 dB. For indoor use. Width 90 cm. YSHIELD® A190 is a stable cellulose fleece laminated on one side with micro-needled aluminium foil. It reaches 112 dB at 1 GHz, the highest shielding in the YSHIELD® range of roll materials, and stays highly breathable thanks to 200,000 micro holes per square metre. Where to use it A190 suits walls, ceilings and floors indoors. Its strength, moisture resistance and tear resistance make it a versatile choice under wallpaper, plaster or floor coverings. When laid loose under flooring, protect the aluminium layer from mechanical wear. Installation Preparation: prime absorbent or chalky surfaces with GK5 primer Aluminium side to the room: the best technical result, and strips connect easily with GSX grounding strap White side to the room: the neatest finish for decorating over Adhesive: heavy wallpaper adhesive on the fleece side; a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the aluminium side Joints: overlap the strips for the best shielding, then smooth with a fine filler Contact materials: keep all materials in direct contact between pH 4 and 9 Grounding A190 has a conductive surface and connects to protective earth through a grounding point such as the GS3 plate, installed by a certified electrician. It shields high-frequency fields and, once grounded, low-frequency electric fields too.
