45mm Midnight Edition Rotary Blades - LDH Scissors - 1 Pack or 5 Pack

Our Midnight Edition 45mm rotary blades are the first of their kind on the market. Made from the same carbon steel used in our Midnight Edition and Traditional Shears, these blades are long-lasting and ultra-sharp. Designed with a universal opening, they fit most other 45mm rotary cutters on the market. Please note: the blades are coated with oil to keep them protected from humidity during transportation. We recommend wiping them off with a scrap piece of cloth before use to avoid staining your project. MATERIAL They are made out of carbon steel, the same metal and process that we use to make our Midnight Edition Fabric Shears. BLADE DURABILITY This can vary from person to person and how one uses their cutter, as well as the type of cutting mat they have. We tested our blades at various fabric shops in Toronto, and after using them for up to 8 hours a day, five to seven days a week, each shop got between 3 - 4 months of use from one blade! RECOMMENDED USE They can cut through multiple layers of fabric, leather, fleece, vinyl, denim, and other dense materials. MAINTENANCE TIPS Carefully store the blades in the original packaging. Our Story In 1990, LDH Scissors was founded in Shenzhen, just outside of Hong Kong, by a young couple who simply needed better quality sewing scissors. Built with Love, Dedication and Happiness, the company has been serving the sewing community ever since. Fast forward to 2018, their son Roy and his wife Ursula have brought the company to Toronto, Canada, bringing with them the same Love, Dedication and Happiness that made it all possible. Our scissors are designed in Toronto, Canada and have been crafted since 1990 in our family's factories in China. LDH Scissors is also proud to be immigrant-, female-, and family-owned!
