Four-nozzle switching for more efficient multicolor printing› Multicolor models can require frequent changes between filaments. K3 switches nozzle assemblies to reduce the repeated unloading, loading and residual-color flushing associated with shared-nozzle workflows. The four nozzles are selected in sequence according to the sliced toolpath; only the selected nozzle prints at a given moment. Creality specifies approximately 4.8 seconds for the mechanical nozzle change and approximately 15 seconds for a complete color or material change. Actual completion times depend on the model, materials and slicing settings. Colors and materials for models and practical parts›Four independent paths can hold different colors or compatible materials, allowing a model to combine visual and functional requirements. Material combinations still require suitable adhesion, temperatures and slicing parameters.
