Nancy Ginger Jar Lamp

A few lamps light a room. Fewer make the room feel like it has a story. The Nancy Ginger Jar Lamp belongs in the second category. Its deep cobalt porcelain base is covered in a dense, all-over floral tracery of peonies and trailing vines rendered in soft white, grounded by a gilded brass footing that adds just the right warmth.Place it on a console, nightstand, or library table, and the room around it picks up a sense of considered ease, the kind that suggests every piece was chosen, not bought.
