Frequently Asked Questions What is the quality of the stainless steel tank? The tank uses SS304 stainless steel — high-quality food-grade steel with far less bacterial growth than a plastic storage tank. What will be the pH of water after purification? Between 7.5 and 8.5 — the ideal range for drinking water. Is an external pre-filter provided with the water purifier? Yes — it's provided free of cost and kept inside the storage tank. Our technician installs it as part of the installation. How is the Alken Pro NF better than other brand water purifiers? A stainless steel tank for less bacterial growth, alkaline pH water for the associated health benefits, and up to 50% lower annual maintenance (around ₹2,500) compared to other brands (₹5,000 and above). What will be the installation cost? Installation is ₹500, over and above the price of the purifier — payable to the technician after successful installation. Can we adjust the TDS of the water as needed? Yes. A TDS controller is built in, so levels can be set to your requirement. The ideal range for drinking water is 50–150 ppm.
