Wait for Me By Moonlight by Elle Pervez

This painting was inspired by black cockatoos flying through the desert landscape. I wanted to convey the feel of the evening with the sounds of the cockatoos as they fly above a land preparing for nightfall. The land herself is inspired by the stunning horizons of outback Australia and how I feel when I am there. Artist: Elle Pervez Medium: Acrylic, framed in Flooded Gum Size: 60 x 90 Framed size: 63 x 93 Way Out Back This series celebrates the Australian desert, chasing the light over the land, and the experience of the outback in all her seasons from the perspective of two artists, Elle Pervez and Carolyn Brennan-Tucker.
