CryoVault 550-445P Vapor Phase LN2 Container

CryoVault 550-445P is the entry model of Unicorn’s 445 mm-neck family. At 590 mm internal height, it’s actually shorter inside than the smaller-diameter 460-320P (914 mm), trading vertical depth for a wider 1,090 mm vessel and a bigger 445 mm neck. The result is more capacity (28,000 vials vs 21,000) in a shorter, easier-to-reach chamber — useful where staff retrieve by hand rather than with powered lifting. Samples sit above the liquid line in −190°C nitrogen vapor on an internally rotating carousel, and the tray-bottom charge gives an 80-day static liquid reserve against a 17-day vapor-hold figure, the longest vapor-hold margin of any model below 800 L.
