A beautiful natural solid crystal opal from the historic Mintabie opal fields in South Australia, handcrafted into an elegant sterling silver ring. Although petite in size, this 1.20ct opal displays an impressive play of colour. Flashes of red, orange, yellow, green and blue move across its softly domed surface as the light changes. The opal is held securely in a handcrafted sterling silver setting with an open back, allowing light to reach the stone and highlight its natural colour. The slender polished band creates a comfortable and delicate ring while keeping the opal as the centrepiece. This is a completely one of a kind ring, handcrafted in my Pomona studio in the Noosa Hinterland.
