Mapei Malech is a water-based acrylic primer, smoothing and adhesion-promoting, specifically designed to prepare wall surfaces before applying subsequent paints and finishes. Formulated with micronized acrylic resins in aqueous dispersion, it penetrates deep into the substrate, helping to even out absorption, consolidate surface dust, and improve finish adhesion. It is particularly suitable as an fixative and primer for interior and exterior walls, on surfaces such as plaster, concrete, repairs with cement mortars, and old paints that are slightly chalking. Malech is also odourless and solvent-free, a feature that makes it suitable for use even in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
