Die, Cupid Earring

"Die, Cupid" began as a story. Then it became an image. And finally, a piece of jewellery. This earring draws its inspiration from the novel Muérete Cupido by Jaime Rodríguez and the artwork that artist Brianda Fitz-James Stuart created for its cover. Luz de Nehca brings that arrow to life in metal, handcrafting it in sustainable 925 sterling silver. Made up of two pieces, an arrow and a feather, the design plays with asymmetry, transforming a symbol traditionally associated with romantic love into something entirely different. Because "Die, Cupid" is not about idealised love. It is about love as we live it. And everything we learn along the way.
