Tombstone: Natural

The MSC Tombstone Natural takes our classic double-rider silhouette and rebuilds it in 1.3mm natural vegetable-tanned leather. Beginning almost bone white, the leather will gradually darken and develop a rich, individual patina through sunlight, wear and time. Every crease, mark, and change in tone becomes part of the jacket. For this edition, we reworked some of the Tombstone’s defining details. The rear features a Western-inspired pointed yoke, action-back for added mobility, and an integrated kidney panel through which a full removable leather belt passes. Newly shaped pointed leather belt loops and brass rivet detailing continue the Western influence through the waist. Up front, the zippered chest pocket has been repositioned to sit more horizontally, following the line of the lapel for a cleaner profile. Zippered hand pockets and a brass snap coin pocket retain the unmistakable character of the classic double-rider. The sleeves are built with a natural curve through the arm for a more articulated fit and finished with French seam construction. Zippered cuffs incorporate an open leather gusset, allowing the cuff to expand when unzipped. Hardware is substantial throughout, with a Talon No. 10 main zipper, Talon No. 7 zippers at the pockets and cuffs, and brass snaps at the collar and lapels. Inside, an insulated black 100% cotton liner provides a clean contrast against the natural leather, along with two interior pockets for everyday storage. At 1.3mm, the vegetable-tanned hide begins with substantial structure and will soften and shape to the wearer over time. Sunlight, movement and everyday wear will gradually transform its pale natural colour into warmer shades of honey, tan and brown. The Tombstone Natural isn’t designed to stay pristine. It’s designed to become yours. Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step — from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
