Sz: 4 3/4" x 1 1/2" The Spouting Rock Beach Association, lovingly referred to as Bailey’s Beach, is a cherished member-owned family Club with a rich history dating back to 1897. Nestled along Newport's picturesque shoreline, our Club has been a treasured retreat for generations of families, fostering strong bonds and timeless traditions. From its origins as a seaside retreat, Bailey’s Beach has become a beloved destination where families from across the country, and beyond, gather every summer to enjoy the camaraderie, scenic beauty, Club traditions and amenities. SRBA formerly Bailey's Beach is without a doubt the most exclusive beach in America, and is controlled by wealthy summer residents. No outsider can get on this beach, only by water. The organization has attracted notable members of nearby families such as the Vanderbilt family, Astor family, and Sheldon Whitehouse. The 1938 Hurricane destroyed the original clubhouse, and the current clubhouse and cabanas appear relatively modest to passersby. Bailey's Beach was one of the centers of elite Newport social life along with other institutions such as the Redwood Library, Newport Country Club, Trinity Church, Clambake Club, Newport Reading Room, New York Yacht Club summer clubhouse and the Newport Casino.
