The padding is 1 3/8" thick cross linked polyethylene foam which provides support for wrists, ankles and throw downs. The mats are shock absorbent enough to be used directly on concrete flooring. The mat is covered in 22 ounce vinyl that is antimicrobial, antifungal, and will not support mildew. Dirt contaminants are easily cleaned with non-abrasive cleaner. The 8' x 8' Wrestling Mat comes in two separate light weight mats which roll out to cover an 8' x 8' floor space. Clear mat tape is included with this product to connect the wrestling mat sections.
