The Klima D3-P is an 18 mm D-class motor built for a long, steady burn rather than a quick kick. It's a plugged motor, which means there's no ejection charge — nothing is fired out of the top at burnout. That makes it the go-to choice for rocket gliders and rocket cars, where you want a long burn and don't want the spent casing ejected or the centre of gravity shifting mid-flight. It also works brilliantly as an outboard motor in a cluster, stretching flight times right out — just make sure your recovery is sorted separately, since a plugged motor won't deploy a parachute on its own. Each pack contains 6 D3-P motors along with Klima's own electric igniters, so you've everything you need to fire them from an electrical launch controller.
