Under My Breath

The quietest work in the series — flowing script rendered white on white, with the faintest traces of blue-gray and blush surfacing through the strokes. The writing is there, sculpted in thick oil, but it asks the viewer to slow down and look for it: words at the edge of visibility, like a message nearly erased or a thought kept just under the breath. Light becomes the true reader here, raking across the textured surface and revealing the script differently throughout the day. Serene, monumental, and nearly silent. Wrier and ready to hang.
