This microlot comes from Java Frinsa Estate, produced by Wildan Mustafa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas. “Frinsa” is a heartfelt tribute to their four children: Fikri, Rifda, Nadia, and Salsa. This specific lot, “Manis”, means “sweet” in Bahasa. The region has a very wet climate and has a hard time drying coffee traditionally. Therefore, the pair focus on fully washed, wet-hulled processing. This is an Indonesian signature process. This process produces coffee with a more prominent fruity character, a hint of earthy taste, and a heavier body. Expect a clean, washed profile with citrus, sweetness, and a slightly herbal flavour.
