Laser Cleaning Face Shield System – Weld Flash Shade 5
The Laser Cleaning Face Shield System – Weld Flash Shade 5 is designed for industrial laser cleaning applications where operators may require additional visible brightness reduction during material removal and surface cleaning operations. This system is designed around the RPB® Z-Link® platform and is available in multiple configurations depending on the operator’s existing equipment setup and application requirements. The Shade 5 lens configuration provides a darker viewing experience than Shade 3, helping improve operator comfort in brighter laser cleaning environments. Available Configurations Shade 5 Conversion Plate Only Designed for customers who already own a compatible RPB® Z-Link® system and only require the Weld Flash Shade 5 replacement lens plate assembly. Z-Link Face Shield Assembly Includes the configured RPB® Z-Link® face shield assembly with the installed Weld Flash Shade 5 lens plate for integration into an existing compatible respiratory protection system. Complete Helmet Assembly Includes the complete configured helmet assembly with installed Weld Flash Shade 5 lens plate designed for connection to a compatible powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) system. Complete PAPR System Includes the complete configured respiratory protection system including the helmet assembly, Weld Flash Shade 5 lens plate, hose assembly, and compatible powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) unit. Designed For handheld laser cleaning rust and oxide removal paint and coating removal industrial surface preparation weld cleaning manufacturing and restoration environments Features Weld Flash Shade 5 lens assembly Reduced visible brightness during laser cleaning operations Designed for industrial laser cleaning environments Compatible with compatible RPB® Z-Link® systems Lightweight face shield configuration Full face coverage Designed for integration with powered air systems Replaceable lens plate assembly Important Safety Information Laser cleaning systems can generate hazardous airborne particulates, reflected laser radiation, and bright process emissions depending on the laser wavelength, power level, material interaction, and operating environment. Final PPE and laser safety equipment selection should be reviewed by a qualified Laser Safety Officer (LSO) or safety professional.
