DRT Cylinder Head Dome Insert Yamaha YZ125(X) 2005+ DRT cylinder heads are the cutting edge of cylinder head design, offering optimized performance for every riding style. Proudly designed and manufactured in the United States! Benefits compared to stock: -Optimized performance: more power where you need it, when you need it -Choose between 3 dome insert options. Each dome offers very different power delivery characteristics! -Increased detonation resistance: more efficient combustion gains performance while also increasing reliability -Better cooling: targeted heat removal where it’s most needed, giving further reliability gains -Cleaner, more consistent jetting -Reduced fuel consumption Domes A and B are safe to run on 91+ octane (AKI) pump fuel. Dome C may require 93+ octane for riders staying in higher rpm for longer periods of time. While each dome varies in compression ratio, they each have chamber geometry optimized for specific power delivery profiles. Please refer to the descriptions below to decide what will best suit you and your riding! Domes D and E provide the most peak power and require high octane fuel to prevent detonation. See specifications and power descriptions below. Dome A (low compression/91+ octane): Low end improvement compared to stock with a linear feeling mid range into a free-revving top end. The most friendly to ride but not lacking in torque or response. Great for beginner riders but plenty of fun for experienced riders too! Offers great control of traction in slick conditions. Dome B (mid compression/91+ octane): Low end improvement compared to stock with a quick ramp into strong top end pull. Slight bottom end torque increase from Dome A with a quicker revving and harder hitting power band compared to dome A. For the rider that keeps it at wide open. Dome C (high compression/91+ octane***): Luggable low end with a broad mid range. Offers the most low end torque and peak power. Snappy and "connected with throttle" feel. Yeah, this one pulls hard! ***Higher octane fuel may required for faster riders*** Dome D (high compression/100+ octane): COMING SOON! Similar power curve to Dome C but MORE power across the rev range! 100+ octane required to prevent detonation. Dome E (high compression/110+ octane): COMING SOON!
