Vintage 9 Carat Gold Diamond Earrings

These drop earrings are made of 9 carat yellow gold with white gold settings for the diamonds. Each earring consists of two small brilliant cut diamonds, one below the other, with a faceted red drop beneath them. The combination of yellow gold, white gold, and red gives the earrings a rather classic structure, but their delicate size keeps them light and wearable. The red drops move subtly beneath the ear and beautifully catch the light due to their faceted cut. Each earring is set with two small diamonds. The top diamond measures approx. 1.5 mm, the bottom one approx. 1.2 mm. Based on these dimensions, the total diamond weight is estimated at approx. 0.05 ct for the pair. The earrings are British hallmarked with 375 for 9 carat gold. They also feature a crown, the London assay mark, and the date letter F, indicating 2005.
