Trainworx was commissioned to produce this beautiful log truck rig. A Family Logging Legacy & More This log truck is a loving legacy to Barb’s dad. He drove truck in the Pacific Northwest out of LA Grande Oregon. During that career the was highly regarded by his fellow drivers as he held both seniority, respect, and track record. Driving many years for Boise Cascade, he hauled wood chips to the area Boise Cascade paper mills as well as resin for the plywood facilities. Like all truckers they have a name they use on the road. He adopted the CB radio handle ‘Colonel Klink’ after the TV show Hogans Heroes. And since his last name was Klinglesmith, it was a natural fit. After years with Boise Cascade, he went back to hauling logs. I was able to ride along several times. He was a skilled driver, and a wonderful father. We love him and miss him every day. This legacy log truck is a very limited production. The price for the last few will be more than current pricing.
