Why low-temperature PCL? Most 3D printer filament (PLA, PETG, ABS) needs 180–230°C to melt. PCL melts at just 60–100°C — about the temperature of a hot cup of tea. That makes PCL the recommended filament for kids' 3D pens: the nozzle stays cooler, the filament is non-toxic, and finished pieces are smooth and bendable rather than rigid and brittle. It's also biodegradable.
