Ice-Blue Bowl "Kayho No. 13" (Jap. 華俑 Luxuriant Pottery Palace) by Ceramic Artist Masamichi Yoshikawa, 21st Century

Elongated rectangular bowl by Masamichi Yoshikawa, covered in a translucent pale blue Seihakuji glaze. The restrained form and subtly nuanced glaze give the piece a distinctly sculptural presence. The bowl is unsigned. The underside retains a red drawing as well as original paper labels inscribed “Masamichi Yoshikawa” and numbered “No. 13.”
