At 1/4″ thick steel — double the standard version — with a reinforced bracket and larger 3/8″ stainless-steel bolt, the steel plate seats flush against flat-opening poles, the internal bracket locks it from the inside, and the integrated puck lock buries the bolt completely — no exposed hardware, nothing to grip or cut.
