Antique 18ct Platinum old transitional cut diamond solitaire engagement ring 0.66ct 1920's
A really pretty antique diamond solitaire ring dating from the Early 20th Century c1920's. This lovely ring is beautifully handcrafted in 18ct gold and Platinum. The traditional crown claw setting has a gorgeous bright, white and sparkling old transitional cut diamond of approx 5.5mm equal to 0.66 carat weight. It is assessed to be H-J colour and P3 clarity, often referred to as a 'salt and pepper' diamond as it has teeny tiny pinprick carbon spots evenly spread throughout the stone. The platinum topped shoulders have detailed hand engraving leading on to a plain polished yellow gold band. A classic, unique heirloom ring with a timeless style that never dates.
