Bela Lugosi in Arsenic and Old Lace, 1944 | 11x17 Art Print
Bela Lugosi made a stop in Columbia, S.C., in 1944, as part of the touring company of Arsenic and Old Lace. The turnout for the show was reportedly strong, with 2,000 people reportedly buying tickets to see Lugosi do his thing at the Township Auditorium. I couldn't find any gig posters for event, so I made my own. Using newspaper ads and older show posters for Township gigs as references, this is intended to illustrate how a poster for the play might have looked. Maybe the real thing will surface one day. This is an original design. This print is 11" x 17" and available in two styles: on glossy text-weight paper, and on a heavier matte card stock. Use the code FREEBIE to get one free 11x17 poster if you buy two (or spend $30 in any other way) - it's my gift to you! Just put three prints in your cart and the code will take $15 off. Designed and printed in Columbia, South Carolina. Ships in tubes made in the USA.
