The wine is bottled at the estate under traditional cork and then rested in the domaine’s historic tuffeau limestone cellars, allowing it to harmonise before release. Tasting Note Vignoble Brisebarre “Amédée” Vouvray Sec 2022 is a profound and beautifully crafted expression of barrel-fermented Chenin Blanc, demonstrating both the generosity of the vintage and the extraordinary ageing potential for which Vouvray is renowned. Deep straw-gold in colour, it opens with an alluring bouquet of ripe peach, baked pear and exotic tropical fruits, layered with notes of flint smoke, beeswax, lanolin and preserved citrus.
