Gathered Pendant Light

Gathered Pendant Gathered is a sculptural pendant light shaped by the idea of gathering—of pleats in cloth, petals around a stem, and forms brought together into a single structure. The shade fans outward from a central point in deep, radiating flutes, creating a rhythmic surface that shifts between softness and structure. Cast in a water-based resin and gypsum composite, the pendant has a soft satin finish that gives the surface a subtle, mineral quality. The material retains the texture of its 3D-printed origin, leaving a fine, layered surface that speaks to its making. Subtle variations may be present, including small air bubbles and surface irregularities. These are a natural result of the casting process and form part of the character of each piece, rather than imperfections. Solid in form, the pendant does not diffuse light but instead shapes it—casting defined shadows that emphasize depth and repetition across the surface. The piece sits between references—part folded fabric, part floral form, part architectural object—without fully resolving into any one. Available in Maroon, Powder Blue, Harvest, and Sandstone. Each pendant is fitted with an E27 lampholder and comes with a 1.5m textile cord, ceiling cup, and cable grip in either brass or silver finish.
