Learn More About the Product This wonderfully versatile pasta known as ‘Casarecce‘ meaning home-style or homemade, has it’s origins in Sicily and is very popular around southern Italy. Fun shapes of unique einkorn pasta! Casarecce refers to the shape---these are short twists of pasta which appear rolled up on themselves. Einkorn pasta has a sweet, slightly nutty flavor that is perfect for pasta. Its texture is just right, not grainy! Compared to semolina, it is higher in protein, and more easily digested—many people with gluten sensitivity find they are able to eat einkorn. Einkorn is an heirloom wheat that hasn’t been hybridized. Made in an allergen free facility using low temp drying methods. The shapes are extruded through bronze dies to create a rough texture that clings to your sauce. Made in the USA. Directions: Bring 4-5 quarts of cold water to a boil. Add salt if desired. Cook Pasta for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste until preferred level of al dente texture is reached. Drain pasta.
