Grounding Undersheet
Description For those who want a grounding sheet built for long-term durability, the grounding undersheet offers a practical, low-maintenance alternative to silver-based fabrics. Instead of silver thread, it uses high-grade 316L stainless steel fibre as the conductive element, blended with cotton and polyester to create a soft, crisp, linen-like fabric with an attractive grey finish. The key advantage of stainless steel is longevity. While silver-based fabrics can be highly conductive when new, silver may oxidise or tarnish over time depending on use and care. Stainless steel does not oxidise in the same way, helping the sheet maintain reliable conductivity throughout the physical life of the fabric. Designed to be placed underneath a regular natural fibre top sheet, this undersheet gives you a simple, comfortable grounding setup without needing to sleep directly on the conductive material. Body pressure and natural moisture from perspiration are sufficient to help create a conductive path through the top sheet. Features Grounding undersheet designed to sit underneath your regular natural fibre top sheet. Made with high-grade 316L stainless steel fibre as the conductive element. Proprietary fabric blend with 30% stainless steel content for reliable conductivity and everyday comfort. Blended with cotton and polyester for a crisp yet soft, linen-like feel. Measures 300cm x 90cm, giving enough length to fit across the lower half of any mattress with ample tuck length. Connection stud positioned near the edge of the sheet for attaching the grounding cord. Benefits Built for long-term use, with stainless steel fibres designed to maintain conductivity over many years. Comfortable undersheet design means you can use it beneath your regular natural fibre bedding. A practical option for everyday grounding without needing a fully fitted conductive sheet. Flexible placement options: use across the lower half of the bed or lengthways for one-person full-body coverage. What’s Included 1 x stainless steel grounding undersheet. 1 x 4.6m / 15ft grounding connection cord. Your selected Earth connection option. How to Use Place the grounding undersheet across the lower half of your mattress, with the tuck sections folded securely underneath each side. Alternatively, position it lengthways from top to bottom to cover the whole mattress area for one person. Place a regular natural fibre top sheet over the grounding undersheet. Attach the grounding cord to the connection stud near the edge of the sheet. Connect the other end of the cord to your chosen Earth connection, following the supplied instructions. It can also be used with direct skin contact if preferred. Stainless steel contains nickel. If you have a sensitivity to nickel, direct skin contact is not recommended. Washing & Care Regular washing is recommended. Washing helps remove body sweat and natural skin oils from the fabric, helping to keep it optimally conductive. The stainless steel grounding undersheet will not be harmed by correct washing and care. Wash every week or two. Machine wash with warm water at 40°C / 105°F. Use a suitable liquid laundry detergent. Line dry or tumble dry on low up to 65°C / 150°F. Can be ironed on low heat if desired. Important Care Notes Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softeners. Do not use dryer sheet fabric softeners. Do not dry clean. Fabric softeners can build up on the fabric and reduce its conductivity over time. FAQs Why choose stainless steel instead of silver? Silver fabrics can offer very high initial conductivity, but stainless steel has a key longevity advantage because it does not oxidise and lose conductivity in the same way over time. Does it go directly under me? It is recommended to place the undersheet underneath a regular natural fibre top sheet. Body pressure and natural moisture from perspiration are sufficient to help create a conductive path through the top sheet. Can I sleep directly on it? Yes, direct skin contact is possible. However, stainless steel contains nickel, so direct skin contact is not recommended for anyone with a nickel sensitivity. Will it fit my mattress? The sheet measures 300cm x 90cm, allowing it to fit across the bottom half of any size mattress with generous tuck length. It can also be used lengthways for one-person coverage. How often should I wash it? Wash every week or two to help remove sweat and natural skin oils from the conductive fabric.
